Our Mountain Retreat has self-contained chalet accommodation, suitable for sleeping 2 or a family of 4, with separate bathroom (shower/wash basin/toilet). In the living room, there is a comfortable sitting area, with a wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen and a generous dining table.

 

The views from the site are outstanding, with beautiful hills all around the property and a stunning view of the Bucegi Mountain Range in the distance, across the river valley. 

 

Each chalet has a key-safe for entry/exit. The heating system, which is powered by environmental friendly propane gas is extremely easy to operate and control. The chalets are exceptionally well insulated, so they reach temperature quickly in the winter and keep cool in the day in summer.

 

The chalets have been carefully furnished, decorated and maintained. The furniture is chosen carefully, with comfort and layout in mind.

 

The Mountain Retreat is Ideal for family holidays. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area, like: cycling, walking, outdoor cooking, visiting various sites and sledging or skiing in winter. 

 

The Retreat site will suit small groups wishing to spend time: developing shared skills, studying together, listening to an invited speaker … and so on.

 

An international airport has recently opened in Brasov and the Bucharest airport is only 2 ½ hour’s drive.

 

The famous Bran Castle is 2 Km away and can actually be seen from the site. The area around the castle has a plentiful supply of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and other leisure attractions.

 

The chalets can be rented for 500 lei/day (minimum of 2 days stay).
